COMPASS (Cardio-Oncology Multidisciplinary Patient ASsistance Solution) combines artificial intelligence, multimodal clinical data, medical imaging, biomarkers, and continuous monitoring systems to improve the prevention and management of cardiovascular complications associated with cancer therapies.
The project develops interoperable digital infrastructures and Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS) to support clinicians, researchers, and patients through safer, more coordinated, and more personalized healthcare pathways.
Beyond technology, COMPASS strongly promotes patient empowerment and engagement. A key focus of COMPASS is long-term cancer survivorship, with the development of personalized cardiovascular follow-up pathways tailored to patients’ long-term needs, including those receiving immunotherapies.
